Data Monitor - Manage Data Usage in Real Time App Reviews

I keep this app on my first application screen and its badge tells me how much data Ive used as a percentage of my monthly plan and it works very well! Id like it because it tells me at a glance how close I am to 100%. Its been very accurate for months and I have double checked it vs. the telcos app and they correlate.

Ive discovered, unfortunately after I already went over my monthly usage, that your monitoring tool does not count/capture hotspot/pairing cellular data usage (i.e. I paired my laptop to my phone for Internet access and that data wasnt recorded). This is a huge hole in your product and as a result I will be looking for a new data monitor :(

Regardless on how many options I am trying, the app wont let me set the GB limit to 6. Yes, I have a 6gb data plan.,,

It underestimates your data. You could end up paying more to you cell phone company as happened to me. Be wary.

Basic and easy to use without a bunch of unnecessary extras. I can see my progress at a glance. Love it! Update: this app has suddenly started using a lot of my data when Im not accessing anything online! How do I make it stop?

Seemed like it was working but I noticed a few days again when I was at the airport that I had used 7% of my data and today it says I have used only 2% and its not even a new billing cycle! Please fix this! Thank you.

I dont know if its Verizon or if its the app but the data usage is different from each other. On the app its lower then Verizon and I even went as far as putting a higher number in the app and its still less then Verizons. So either Verizon is cheating us out of our data plan or the app is off.

App works OK except that it does not reset when the new cycle starts.

I have a company cell and I know how much data I get with my plan. Yet, I do not have access to see any of the plan details. This app is on it. 5 stars for the idea and implementation.

Works great. Only drawback is you cannot customize usage warning levels.

Does just what it should, kept track, warned me...perfect. Simple, easy to use, its great!

The notification is the percentage of data used

I do not leave location services on and this app requires it. It got stuck flashing if I wanted to turn it on or cancel. It wouldnt let me answer. Deleted app immediately. Just want to know my usage not where.

The latest update has completely broken this app. My wifi and cellular counters are resetting everytime I open the app. My bill cycle counter has reset to some weird number and even the wireless data plan configuration is gone. Uninstalled.

Dont bother. This thing vastly over stated how much data I was using. I corrected it but it would almost immediately go back to its inflated number. Maybe it thinks kilobytes are megabytes. Whatever.

All this is is a glorified alarm. On your billing date it reminds you to Manually reset your usage statistics.
