Data Monitor - Manage Data Usage in Real Time App Reviews

This app shows promise, but cannot be trusted when youve got a small data plan. It tends to be 10-20% off actual usage, so if youre getting to usage limits its very possible to go over and not know.

The counters dont always reset on the billing date that is configured. Not sure as to why this happens. But definitely not trustworthy.

Awesome little app, do exactly what it says it does. Been using it for about 2 weeks now and it seems to be just fine.

paid upgrade still has adds. app does not show individual apps data usage. does little more that whats already done in your settings.

Used it for about a week, open up next day and data usage was reset to zero. For some reason my usage was erased. Probably need to look for a more reliable data monitor.

Keeps telling me im over data at less than 100 mb. Continously asks me to buy and update. Just not what I want. There has to be better out there.

Worst data app. Not only does it not work properly, it uses the same name as a better data monitor app, which causes confusion when searching for the intended app for another device or recommending to a friend. Do NOT download this. In fact, it needs to be deleted off the app store.

The app was really good so I bought it after upping my data plan to 4 GB a month. After 2 weeks the app showed that I had used 2GB of data. The problem os that I had really used 3.5 GB of data. This app can only show the data used on the tablet or phone it is installed on. It does not total up your usage on all your devices. I had assumed that the app was connected to Verizon but it is not therefor the app is useless to anyone who has multiple devices.

This program never shows real data usage. Very poor interface also.

When you turn your phone off and back on again it resets to "0". This is not usable.

Ive been using this app for over 2 years. If Im not wrong on iOS 6 it used to be ill say about 90% accurate. Now when I look on my phone under setting cellular it says 702 MBs I go to data monitor it says 305 MBs When my carrier says Ive used 692 MBs And btw Ive had background monitoring turned on all the time And tried adding data monitor to the background app refresh I once liked it. And found it useful but Im deleting it now. Thanks to the developers for their work.

I wonder how accurate this app really is? It looks good, seems like it should work. So until i find out otherwise Ill give 5 stars for appearance & potential.

Used to be a great app. Real easy to see and use. But now ever since I upgraded to ios8 it doesnt reset it self on the new cycle date.

This is a prety good app to have if ya use a data plan from at&t or one of the other providers but its a cool app

I thought the pro version would let me see usage by app but it appears I was mistaken. If Im wrong then the app deserves more stars but for now its average.

For some reason it keeps saying you have to pay money

I like this app but i want to try free the full vercion for one moth if its possible send me a push notification

Works for what you need it to do but has a bug where it will not update your usage on the notification bubble until you open the app

12/2014: I used to depend upon the cellular data usage monitor in this app. After I got used to where and how to use the Adjustment feature, it was very useful. But two situations have rendered it useless: 1) adding a line with shared data plan; and 2) rollover data. The app doesnt see the other phones usage, and theres no way Ive found to enter or retain rollover data allowance.
